The exhibition Here and Now at Museum Ludwig. And yesterday and tomorrow takes a fresh look at the connection between past, present and future by linking selected contemporary and historical works of art with scientific illustrative material. The exhibition reflects the museum’s location in the here and now as well as the ongoing changes in the landscape that are inextricably linked to the factor of time. These themes are reflected in the exhibits on display, which range from natural motifs such as tree rings and a planting on the roof terrace of the Museum Ludwig to historical photographs. During the exhibition, different works will be continuously exchanged, allowing new groups of works and impressions to emerge and the exhibition itself to change over time.

And yesterday and tomorrow is the first climate-neutral exhibition at the Museum Ludwig.
